AI technology opens a new future for personalized healthcare.
On January 14–16, 2026, the National Health Information Center held a kickoff workshop to promote cooperation in medical artificial intelligence (AI) and a technical training course on assessing practical needs for AI governance, research, and application. The workshop was honored to welcome Dr. Vu Manh Ha – Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Permanent Deputy Minister of Health – who attended and gave keynote remarks. The event also saw the participation of leaders from various departments and agencies under the Ministry of Health, along with nearly 200 in-person delegates and over 6,700 online participants from more than 2,000 connection points nationwide.

At the event, OmiGroup introduced its Agentic AI solution for personalized nutrition. This system was developed to transform complex, multi-layered biomedical data into highly personalized, easy-to-understand, and actionable nutrition and lifestyle recommendations "tailored" to each individual.

Unlike the traditional approach, where nutritionists rely primarily on their personal knowledge and experience, Agentic AI acts as an intelligent "assistant." By taking multi-layered data as inputs—such as advanced blood tests, biomarkers, lifestyle habits, and health history—and combining them with a verified, continuously updated biomedical knowledge base, the system is capable of:
- Rapidly analyzing and identifying potential issues or health risks.
- Detecting metabolic imbalances, micronutrient deficiencies, and risks of inflammation or oxidative stress.
- Automatically suggesting functional diagnostic directions.
- Supporting the delivery of nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle recommendations tailored to each individual.

Thanks to this, nutritionists can shorten analysis time, improve assessment accuracy, and focus more on their core role: counseling, guiding, and personalizing solutions for each client.
In particular, the nutrition plans built by Agentic AI are no longer a "one-size-fits-all" formula, but become a unique "health map" for each individual—where every meal, micronutrient, and lifestyle habit is designed based on real biological data. This marks the shift from "general healthy eating" to "precision nutrition for every body," opening a new era for functional medicine and proactive healthcare.
Through the event, OmiGroup once again affirms its pioneering role in applying AI to healthcare, while demonstrating its long-term commitment to partnering with Vietnam's medical ecosystem to jointly shape the future of smart healthcare.
