Omi Korea Hosts Expert Seminar on AIX·DX in Hospitals: Experience in Japan and an End-to-End Implementation Strategy

On March 4 in Seoul, Omi Korea organized a specialized seminar titled “Digital Transformation and AI Transformation in Hospital Operations: Case Studies from Japan and Omi Korea’s End-to-End Implementation Strategy.” The event attracted around 40 experts and representatives from technology companies in the digital healthcare sector from South Korea, Japan, and Vietnam.

Omi Korea Hosts Expert Seminar on AIX·DX in Hospitals:  Experience in Japan and an End-to-End Implementation Strategy

In his opening remarks, Mr. Tran Quoc Dung shared OmiGroup’s strategic vision for expanding AI and digital transformation solutions into international markets. He emphasized the group’s more than 14 years of experience developing advanced healthcare technology solutions, with the goal of improving hospital operational efficiency and enhancing the quality of patient care.

The seminar featured three thematic sessions focusing on key trends and real-world implementation experiences. In the first session, Mr. Shimogawa Tadahiro, CIO of Kyoto Min-iren Chuo Hospital (under Kyoto Hokenkai), presented a case study on the deployment of AI within the Kyoto Hokenkai hospital system through the AIX Project, sharing practical insights into applying AI to hospital operations in Japan.


Next, Mr. Park Hee-jun, Senior Manager at Mediplus Solution, analyzed the development trends of AI solutions in digital healthcare services in South Korea, while also highlighting barriers in the development and commercialization of digital health products in the market.



In the final session, Mr. Park Byung-su, Tech Lead at Omi Korea, introduced the strategy for developing AI agents to optimize operational workflows in hospitals and clinics, along with technical approaches for effectively implementing AI solutions in real-world environments.



The event provided in-depth perspectives on AI Transformation (AIX) and Digital Transformation (DX) in healthcare, while also reaffirming the capabilities of OmiGroup and Omi Korea in partnering with organizations to implement digital transformation solutions for hospital systems and healthcare enterprises in international markets.

In the coming time, Omi Korea will continue expanding collaboration with technology companies and healthcare organizations in South Korea, contributing to the advancement of AI adoption and digital transformation in the healthcare sector.
