OmiGroup introduces OMIKG at Vietnam Insurance Summit 2026, bringing ai and evidence-based medicine to personalized health insurance
On July 31, 2026, in Da Nang, OmiGroup introduced its OmiKG solution at the Vietnam Insurance Summit 2026 through a presentation by Mr. Tran Quoc Dung, Founder and CEO of OmiGroup, titled "OmiKG – An AI-Powered Solution for Early Detection of Metabolic Disorder Risks Based on Evidence-Based Medicine for Personalized Health Insurance."

Vietnam Insurance Summit 2026 brought together more than 600 business leaders and experts from insurance companies, financial institutions, and technology enterprises. As Vietnam's largest annual insurance industry event, the summit serves as a platform for regulators, businesses, and industry experts to exchange insights on emerging trends, foster innovation, and accelerate digital transformation across the insurance sector.

During the conference, OmiGroup showcased OmiKG (Omi Knowledge Graph), an AI-powered knowledge graph platform built on evidence-based medicine to analyze relationships between risk factors and diseases. OmiKG is capable of representing multi-layer biological data (multi-omics) while modeling causal relationships underlying disease mechanisms at the molecular level. This enables the early identification of metabolic disorder risks as well as other chronic diseases. The solution introduces a new approach to preventive insurance models, empowering insurers to proactively manage risks while supporting customers in their long-term health management.

OmiGroup's presentation attracted significant attention from insurance executives attending the summit. Many participants recognized the integration of AI with evidence-based medicine as a highly promising direction, not only for enhancing risk assessment capabilities but also for enabling the development of personalized health insurance products that prioritize disease prevention and preventive care.

Speaking about the company's research direction, Mr. Tran Quoc Dung shared that OmiGroup will continue investing in its team of scientists to advance knowledge graph technologies, artificial intelligence, and computational medicine. The goal is to gain deeper insights into disease mechanisms, improve early risk prediction, and support the prevention of chronic diseases. This represents one of OmiGroup's strategic research priorities in developing evidence-based AI healthcare solutions that advance preventive healthcare and precision medicine.

Building on these achievements, OmiKG will be presented at the annual conference of the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) in November 2026 in Texas, United States. Participation in one of the world's most prestigious academic forums in biomedical informatics further demonstrates OmiGroup's research capabilities while bringing AI healthcare innovations developed by a Vietnamese enterprise closer to the global scientific community.
