OmiGroup signs MOU with Aegis International Hospital to build a digital hospital model in Vietnam
On September 25, 2025, at the groundbreaking ceremony of Aegis International Hospital, OmiGroup officially signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Aegis Hospital. This event marks a significant step in the journey to build a digital hospital model in Vietnam, aiming for a modern, efficient, and patient-centered healthcare ecosystem.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan - Deputy Minister of Health, representatives from Hanoi City, the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam, along with leaders from medical universities, general hospitals, and Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises.

According to the MOU, OmiGroup and Aegis International Hospital will collaborate to implement advanced technology solutions into medical examination, treatment, and hospital management. This includes hospital information systems (HIS), electronic medical records (EMR), telehealth platforms, mobile applications for patients, and especially artificial intelligence (AI) for clinical support.
Additionally, OmiGroup will transfer knowledge and work with Aegis to build a personalized molecular nutrition therapy service from Japan. This is a new direction in comprehensive healthcare that personalizes treatment plans based on biological data, body metrics, and intensive lab results, thereby boosting immunity and providing early screening and disease prevention to help customers optimize their health potential.
Aegis International Hospital is invested with a total capital of over 4,500 billion VND, located on the southern development axis of the capital—a strategic position easily connected to central Hanoi and neighboring provinces. The hospital has a capacity of 1,000 beds and a floor area of up to 287,000 m², consisting of two 26-story towers, four basements, and an 8-story multi-purpose building, designed by the renowned Japanese firm RW.
Aegis is oriented to develop as a smart hospital model, integrating modern medical technologies to achieve JCI accreditation—the global gold standard for quality and patient safety. The hospital gathers a team of domestic and international medical experts, focusing on developing specialized centers such as: precision oncology, cardiology – respiratory, musculoskeletal and rehabilitation, obstetrics – gynecology – pediatrics & IVF, plastic surgery and regenerative medicine, diagnostic imaging, and molecular biology.
The MOU signing between OmiGroup and Aegis Hospital marks the beginning of the journey to realize the vision of a comprehensive smart hospital model in Vietnam, where technology, people, and the healthcare system are closely connected to bring optimal and sustainable treatment value to the community.
