The decision to establish a presence in Fukuoka, a premier innovation hub recognized by the Japanese Government as a National Strategic Special Zone for Global Startups, underscores OmiGroup’s long-term commitment to deeply integrating into the innovation ecosystem and accessing world-class medical standards.
Accordingly, the Healthcare Knowledge & Development Center (HKDC) focuses on:
- Talent Development: Cultivating a tech workforce with deep healthcare domain expertise.
- R&D: Researching and developing cutting-edge HealthTech solutions.
- Clinical Testing: Conducting direct trials within hospital and clinic networks.
- Deployment & Optimization: Implementing solutions in real-world settings and optimizing based on operational feedback.
Through this model, HKDC aims to bridge the gap between medical knowledge, technology, and implementation capabilities. This ensures that solutions transcend theoretical research to be rigorously validated and effectively applied in practice.
Notably, HKDC will serve as a vital gateway for “Make in Vietnam” healthcare technology products to enter the international market. By launching in Japan, these solutions are refined to meet stringent global standards, creating a robust foundation for further international expansion.
In the upcoming phase, HKDC is set to broaden its collaboration with digital health enterprises and startups, providing a real-world environment for testing and deploying emerging products. It is envisioned as a "launchpad" where innovative products are validated and progressively introduced to the global market.
The establishment of HKDC marks a significant milestone in enhancing technological capabilities and driving the export of Vietnamese digital health solutions. This move contributes to positioning “Make in Vietnam” technological values deeper within the global value chain.
